Department of Vocational Rehabilitation
DVR is a statewide resource that assists individuals with disabilities in getting and keeping a job. DVR is a state and federally-sponsored program that works in partnership with the community and businesses to develop employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
American Association of People with Disabilities & Digital Federal Credit Union

For an additional $5.00 deposit, you can join the Digital Federal Credit Union which offers Access & Mobility Loans up to $100,000 with up to 72 months to repay. This is a particularly appropriate option for families with excellent credit records since the rate depends upon credit rating. Multiple Sclerosis Helping Hands
Brings an awareness of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to the general public and provides people with MS and their families a place to access information, receive financial assistance, and find support in living and coping with the many symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis
National Multiple Sclerosis Society Greater Washington Chapter
Their financial assistance program is available to people with MS living within their 23 county chapter community and is intended to be a “help up” in a time of need. However, it is not intended to be an ongoing funding source for individuals. Some things they can provide assistance with include durable medical equipment, mental health services, in-home assessments by an OT, respite care, and some limited emergency assistance with rent, food or utilities.
National Organization Caring for Kids (NOCK)
If you qualify and need help purchasing either a mobility or communication device, NOCK is here to serve you. NOCK accepts qualified referrals from its RESNA-certified partners when all other traditional funding sources have been exhausted. The mission of the National Organization Caring for Kids is to improve the quality of life for special needs children through the use of assistive technology.
